HBO Max’s Legendary is a one-hour competition series where esteemed voguing houses compete in fashion and dance challenges at studio-based balls. 
‘The Houses’ fates are decided by celebrity judges. To celebrate the grand finale of HBO Max’s Legendary season 2 we connected with musical powerhouse, Boiler Room, to create a legendary virtual experience. Pre-recorded at New York City club “Good Room,” the night brought together the elements of ballroom that make the scene feel alive: The Host, the Dancers and the DJ’s.






The night was curated by the godfather of vogue-house MikeQ, who headlined an incredible lineup made up of house & club icons including: Jersey club queen Uniiqu3, Atlanta ballroom royalty Leonce, as well as a b2b from Kaos and Sky LaBeija. Collectively they illuminated the stage, performing legendary sets that would forever go down in Boiler Room history.






Ballroom household name, Gregg Evisu XL, kept the night lively with his unforgettable energy and MCing while a selection of Season 1 and Season 2 Lengendary dancers took the stage.





Hype for this legendary experience was shared across Instagram & Twitter, with the digital flyer being posted to Boiler Room, Legendary, and talent’s personal IG channels.










On premiere day, audiences tuned in live (7pm ET) via Boiler Room’s Youtube premiere channel to experience the highly anticipated event. Boiler Room’s social channels (IG & Twitter) posted watch-back reminders with hype clips/edits of the DJ sets & vogue performances to spread excitement and share the night's highlights.
